Field Campaigns & Collaborations

SOLACE: Sustainable Organic and Inorganic Laboratory Aerosols for Climate Engineering

Mission: Our proposed research program consists of two work packages:
1) Assess whether solid inorganic aerosols considered for SAI unintentionally nucleate PSC, and 2) Identify the best aerosol types for CCT and AMCT based on engineered organic particles.

Each work package consists of three core tasks: 1) generating aerosols, 2) simulating atmospheric processing, and 3) quantifying aerosol-cloud interactions. The work packages are highly interconnected, sharing common tasks, expertise, and instrumentation.
