Lindsey Baldwin 🇺🇸

Lindsey is from Minnesota, USA. She graduated with a BA from Wellesley College in 2023 with a Chemistry major and a History minor. During college, Lindsey developed an interest in environmental chemistry through chemical oceanography and atmospheric chemistry research at Wellesley and through a NASA internship. After graduation, Lindsey worked as a chemist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center studying chemical contamination on spacecraft hardware. She missed environmental chemistry, however, and she joined the NBD group as a PhD student in 2026. Now, Lindsey is studying volatile organic selenium compounds in marine environments using the Vocus PTR-TOF-MS. Outside of the lab, she loves to hike, cross-country ski, run (slowly!), and knit.
