Jay comes from Kalol, nestled in Gujarat, India, where his journey began. His fascination with the air we breathe sparked his interest in chemistry, particularly in the realm of air quality. Delving into the intricacies of indoor air pollution, he specializes in unraveling its secrets through physicochemical characterization of pollutants using various atmospheric instrumentations. Jay is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Saskatchewan, and joined the NBD group to work with the Vocus Mass Spectrometers on indoor air chemistry. Beyond the lab, he enjoys meeting new people and socializing. Additionally, he finds joy in the sport of cricket, where teamwork and strategy converge, offering a refreshing balance to his scientific pursuits.
