Keonna Anukpe 🇨🇦

Keonna is from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and grew up in Surrey, BC. She graduated from UBC in 2026 with a BSc in Chemistry. During her undergraduate degree, Keonna conducted research in synthetic organic chemistry, but developed an interest in environmental chemistry through her coursework. She spent the summer as a project research assistant investigating the viscosity of atmospherically relevant aerosols before joining the NBD group, where she studies volatile selenium produced during bioremediation. In her spare time, she enjoys finding new restaurants and cafes with friends, sweating it out in Pilates classes, and going on solo concert dates!
