Alex grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After high school, he attended the University of Victoria for two years before transferring to the University of British Columbia last year. Currently he is pursuing a degree in Integrated Sciences, with a focus on environmental science, physiology, and genetics. He enjoys the hands-on aspect of lab work and is excited to learn and improve his skills, as this is his first lab role.
