I grew up in La Prairie, QC. I have always had an interest in sciences and the environment, and I love to do hands-on work. In CÉGEP, I greatly enjoyed my chemistry courses, in particular Solutions Chemistry labs. This led me to completing my BSc in Chemistry at Concordia University in Montréal, where I was part of the Institute for Co-operative Education. Throughout my many internships, I found myself drawn to environmental chemistry and the fate of the world when faced with global warming and pollution. I came to UBC to obtain my MSc in Chemistry and study how lignin nanoparticles from forest fires nucleate ice. In my free time, I love hiking and cycling, as well as baking, knitting and sewing.
